Creamy Lemon Fettuccine

Fettuccine pasta, cooked

2 tbsp butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp flour 

1 cup half and half 

Juice and zest from 1 lemon

½ tbsp fresh chopped parsley

½ tbsp fresh chopped basil

1 tsp salt

½ tsp pepper

½ tsp red pepper flakes

Freshly grated Parmesan 

Melt butter in a pan, add garlic and saute for a few minutes until fragrant. Whisk in flour and continuously stir for 3 minutes. Add in half and half, lemon juice, and lemon zest let simmer for 4-5 mins. You will need to stir frequently. Then, add parsley, basil, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes – stir to full combine. Add in the cooked pasta directly from the pot. Top with freshly grated Parmesan.
