Bison Burgers

1 lb ground bison

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp pepper

1/2 tsp salt

1 Vidalia onion

2 tbsp butter

In a medium bowl, combine the bison, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, paprika, pepper, and salt. Thoroughly combine and then form into 4 patties. Set aside. In large skillet or cast iron pan melt butter over medium-low heat. Add onions and let caramelize, about 15-20 minutes. Once finished, set aside on a small plate, leaving remaining butter in the pan. Then, add the 4 patties. Cook 6-7 minutes per side. To serve, top burgers with caramelized onions.

I served the burgers with Little Gem & Melon Salad and Easy, Herb Roasted Potatoes !
